Worship & Music
Each Sunday at 10:30 am, we gather for worship. While the church consists of many programs and activities, this is the heart of community. Although the service is liturgical in structure, the songs and hymns are both contemporary and traditional, reflecting a blended approach to music in the church. Moreover, the feeling is warm with plenty of aloha spirit to pass around and the spiritual climate is intimate and open. Persons of all religious backgrounds are warmly welcomed and often worship with us at Waialua UCC.
So, if it’s been a while since you’ve shared in worship, do come to visit Waialua UCC. It’s small enough to be friendly, yet large enough to provide a beautiful setting for worship. Our service is very “user friendly” and easy for first-time visitors. And, the sermons are not only “good news,” but they are designed to relate to the issues we face in everyday life, challenging the gathered worshiping community to live out the meaning of the Kingdom of God which is in the here-and-now but “not yet.” Come to worship God and be spiritually and relationally refreshed and renewed. You’ll be glad you did!
