To our friends and neighbors,

We are inviting everyone in the community to join us for an outdoor movie night on the lawn of the Waialua United Church of Christ.  We will be showing “Letters To God”, a 2010 movie based on a true story of a young boy coping with cancer.  We have invited local community and high school groups to set up a booth at this event to help raise awareness of their organization.  They will be selling snack items, crafts, t-shirts, and other similar items to raise money for their organizations.  In addition, the Waialua UCC Youth Group will have a booth as well. 

All are welcome to join us for a night of good fun and fellowship this summer.  This event is scheduled to run on Saturday June 21, 2025 from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM.  The movie will start at approximately 7:30 PM, but guests are welcome to arrive around 6:00 PM to set your blankets and lawn chairs on the lawn for a good spot to see the movie.  Organizations are welcome to come at 5:00 PM to set up their booths.

If you’d like to join us as part of an organizational booth, please complete the participation application at the link below.  There is NO FEE to participate in this event; donations to the church are welcomed but not required.  Once your application has been completed, you will be contacted by a representative of the Community Events Team and be given further details and instructions if required.  We hope you will join us in making this a truly great community event!
